I took this pic for DT recently and thought it nice enough to share. It's said to be from the type collection, given to John Lavranos by Hans Herre.
It's in a 2.5" pot and 10 years old from a leaf cutting.

Re: Cono Khamiesbergense
Gets the same treatment Ian. No more dificult really, except the shyness to flower that a few folks mention.

Re: Cono Khamiesbergense
My Khamies plants sit on the bench between pots of reconditum and roodiae and get the same treatment. I have 8 pots and all have flowers for the last 3 weeks. They never used to flower so well, but since we've been going to the USA for 3 months over winter, they've had that as a dry period. This yea...

Cono Khamiesbergense
Nice colour at this time of year.
First or last in the genus to flower? One of the first actually - like smorenskaduense and bruynsii, this flower appears from the new body, growing inside last years pair of leaves.

Re: Adromischus Updated!
That's it Lyndsey - but Derek has pointed out that GDR's cultivar name is invalid. No description of how this differs from other forms of herrei, was, or has ever been, published.

Re: Adromischus Updated!
I think establishing valid cultivar names for some Adromischus, is a good idea. There are quite a few very old clones which are widespread in cultivation, which have either very little, confused, or no data at all. They (or we as collectors - the plants don't care!) could benefit from this. What I d...

Re: Adenium Obesum Cuttings
I never tried rooting cuttings, but did manage to graft it on to Oleander many years ago David. Makes it easier to keep - I think it can rot easily on it's own roots.
Not that you seem to be having any trouble - nice plant!

Re: Adromischus Updated!
Hee hee.......thanks Derek - a bit embarrassing that one!
The leaves are hallii in shape though and the plant in habit.....it's never really sat well with the shrubby herreis from further north.
