With some patience you can be rewarded. I fought with this baldianum for over 2 years and left it without soil. I just soaked it in soapy water every few months. We really don't have any chemicals available here so I just washed the mites off. I was not happy with the damage but as you can see it do...

Meths is 100% effective in my experience (if used on a dry root ball), but you are going to need a lot to give all the plants a root bath in it. This might be a silly question but what is/are Meths? Is it anything like Isopropyl alcohol? I hesitate doing a google search for meths because I know wha...

Beautifully grown bokei, Ian. Nice shape, clean white colour, and nice flowers. I'll see if I can attract small bees if I can get plants like these. :wink:

Could the Mammillaria on the left be the one you chopped down? I did that to my M. hahniana and the top looks like it might be ok for now but the bottom is completely hollow out. Interesting looking but not the most pleasant smell.
