I'd guess that it's probably menesesii (now in Rebutia glomeriseta).

I had my first flowers of the season yesterday - 4 different things at once (2 Rebutia & 2 Epiphyllum hybrids). Looking at my photos from last year things are about 2ish weeks behind last year for most of my plants.

I had 'some' :shsne: seed from them over the Winter. I was very impressed by the level of germination. A lot of it is who lists plants to your tastes - for me, their range is a very good match.

Yes, Oreocereus, probably celsianus, then some sort of Cereus (and it's the one I always forget the name of), then I'd say Parodia magnifica then probably a Rebutia though I'd like to see it more closely to rule out Parodia haselbergii. Then a ? The last two, if these labels are the only choices, lo...

Slowing down evaporation from the soil is a blessing and a curse, depending on whether you find watering a chore or have a tendency to overwater. Certainly makes it harder to judge how damp the soil is.

Bathroom windowsills? Why not have it in a pot hanging from the ceiling? Where I used to live, I was very limited for space indoor and out, and had a large Platycerium in a hanging basket over the bath......
