I have been informed that Bill Keen passed away two days ago. Bill was a long time member of both the NCSS & BCSS. He was Editor of the NCSS Journal (1976-1982) and the BCSS Journal (1983-1991). Bill was Vice-Chairman of the BCSS (1998-2003) and President in 2004.

I received mine today and I know of a number of others who also had theirs today. The were all posted out on Monday at exactly the same time so now it’s up to your local sorting office! Has anyone got their BCSS journal and seed list today? I believe it usually arrives the 2nd Wednesday in December.

Possibly a misspelling of ‘Fiherense’ which is a form of P. lamerei. Presumably found near Ferena, Vondrozo, Madagascar.
