The B. bracteolatum flower is pretty impressive, Sylvia! Hope your seed horns prove to be gravid! Any smell to these?

This site is quite safe, Robert - I've won plants on their auctions in the past, but the prices do get a little bit high! Practise on the green ones first, the variegates are a bit trickier. (And I may just be bidding on some tomorrow!)

If you are using decent compost, Joy, feeding really isn't that important. April to July is the period when most cacti make most of their growth, so that makes sense. Some people never feed, but repot their plants fairly regularly, which renews the the food element. Too much feeding might produce bl...
