I've often wondered how much rain falls down south? We get an average of 555mm per year, which is low compared to the rest of Scotland, particularly the west coast. But it's spread right through the year and I wonder about the effect on cacti outdoors in winter. What do you grow outside?

They are really fantastic photos Paul! Do the plants stay outside all year? I'm thinking about trying some Opuntias outside but 'am not sure which species are the hardiest/most wet tolerant?
