Re: ID Help Again Please

Thank you Diane and Mike - at least I did recognise them as Mammillaria (big improvement for me)

Your help is much appreciated. I could not resist buying these plants when I saw they were already starting to flower - of course I did not stop at just 2 plants!

Re: Seedlings - a nice shade of red

Many thanks Habanerocat - I will reduce propagator temperature and reduce the grow lamp duration and see if that helps.

Seedlings - a nice shade of red

I have a tray of mixed cacti seedlings that were sown in September 2017 and kept on a windowsill in the house. When I got my new propagator and 2 led grow lights I moved them into the greenhouse (heated to 3 - 5C) placed in the propagator (set to 20C) with lights set to operate from 6am to 8pm. They...

Well here goes - my first entry into the photo comp!!! I have a limited collection of plants about 30 but steadily growing and the three images below are the only three plants which on a good day and if the light is good and I don't have my contact lenses in there is a hint of blue and of course it ...

My seeds arrived Saturday - many thanks to the team for their hard work and efficiency.

Re: Propogator or Windowsill?

Phew that's a relief Mike - I have grow lights being delivered tomorrow (60w LEDs) so hopefully that will do the trick - propagator for them at the weekend then.

Thanks for your help and also Daniel
