I'm with Mike on this one, neither of my two plants have flowered, well done Chris and I like the flower colour, is the photo a good colour match, only I always thought bulbispina flowers were yellow?

Another first timer;
I realize that phrase has been said a lot this year, but this brown spine version of Tephrocactus weberi RBT 05 is doing just that.

Hi Cindermanrolls; Well it is certainly a Corynopuntia, my first thought was that it was the short spine version of C. vilis but the segments on your plant are generally round not club shape as per vilis. That is good to know, I think I will try a root cutting as you suggest, ( those three look good )
Dr. Tony Roberts has mealy bug on his small opuntias well that is another illusion shattered :lol:

My two cuttings I got have rooted down ok, and have started with good top growth, but after 3 years there is no sign of them growing a tuber.
Chris a length a plastic pipe cut to size and a base fitted using plastic pipe weld would do the trick.
