I've had no flowers on mine. I really think you must polish your cacti. They are shining! Great photos as per usual.

Thanks for speedy response. I googled it and I think Jim has it.

Elderly Unknown Succulent
This was my mothers' and she died in 2007 and it has been with my sister. Neglected. Could someone identify it for me please. I gave it to my mother, probably 20 years ago but it was in poor soil and I doubt much, if anything has been done to help it. Thanks Jane O. This was the subject that occasio...

Same here! I have tried all sorts to encourage stump but it won't grow! Tops no problem but not the original plant.

Re: Unknown cactus for ID please
Hi Dave,
Lovely pictures but they don't help with the cut! It's got lots of areole wooly bits but as it's only 1 metre, it's too small to flower. At least it shows I have it in the right place as it obviously likes sun. Thanks anyway.

Re: Unknown cactus for ID please
I have a problem with this fellow. I turned it round the other day and noticed a two inch fine cut in the stem. Looks like it has been cut but obviously it has not. It faces south in conservatory. Has it been too hot and dry? What can I do now. Will it die? Is this it's revenge coz I threatened to g...

Re: Today's freaky Conophytum
I think they are animals closely related to plants! May be a snail? Surely they should be treasured rather than binned? Cute?

Thinking logically, surely handling these plants would be difficult too. It is not as though you could stuff them in pockets is it? I am assuming these are not small specimens.
