I have not tried this but I definitely will if/when I have some. Might be worth trying for other soil pests as well.

What I would like is for it to root at the stem but I won't bother it now till spring to if that has happened.

I have given mine as much sun as I can and it has had plenty of heat with a fan circulating air all spring, summer and now fall. I think that has kept it from stretching.

This plant was from seeds I got from you, Aiko, back in 2013.

A nice display of L. verruculosa. Interesting how 'Rose of Texas' can vary in colour so much.

I don't mind the highs and lows difference. I fact it is well suited to any winter growers seeds as well. I just think it will take longer for flowers to open up. I don't like to see them linger and abort.
