As has been said these are very strong growing plants and when in growth can take plenty of feed and water. I always wait for thr old stems to dry off completely before removing them. I would delay repotting until growth has stopped for the season and stems dried off. All three of mine are summer gr...

If flowers abort it's too dry

They need a lot of water in the summer and a couple of nurseries on the continent have them in standing water !

Not sure I would do that but plenty of water in mid summer helps keeps the flowers

These caudex's can be a pain to get going I have one thats sat their for 5 years ! What I have found can work is put it in pumice or cat liter/grit mix but something that drains very well but has a little bit of moisture retention (hence not pure grit) Then soak it realy well let it drain and put on...

If your after a larger amount Roffey Brothers will deliver a mixed pallet of JI and grit to any U.K. Location I just had 30 bags no 2 and 20 bags of the 4mm granit grit delivered It's a good mix with only the odd bit of twig ! If you have the space and can keep it dry it does not go off like the old...

Yes thats the one i was looking at they also have one that does RH also

Looks like it will log the data to a cloud site which you can then access using a tablet or phone. I also saw somewhere it can send email alerts based on alarm points
