Re: Potential new greenhouse
When we moved 6 years ago, I bought a Rhino. After many years of scraping my skull on the Alton I'd had for many years, the height of it was excellent (I'm also 6ft 5). Totally recommend.

Re: mammilaria to ID plz
Hi Tina, It looks like there might be just one central spine, rather short, hooked, and pale to mid brown. Radial spine count varies from 10 or so up to 20, though the lack of sharpness makes this difficult to count. However, it probably is one of the Stylothelae series, and my guess would be one of...

Re: Inkbird thermostat for 3kw heater ?
For my 20ft greenhouse, I looked long and hard for thermostats with which I could check the termperature as well as set them over some sort of remote wifi connection. I failed to find any so in the end I chose to use a couple of Biogreen 2 for my 3kw heaters, and keep a check on them with a Climemet...

Re: Plants from BCSS Seed Pool seed
Hi Janine, Great to see some of your plants, you must have very green fingers, as they are beautiful. And thanks for the promo for the seed pool. I probably should remove that "condition" about sending back a seedling to the original donor. Its been ignored, by me as well as the seed donor...

Re: Frailea Pygmaea flower buds
Already had two requests for number of the species that are recently listed on the Forumm Seed Pool listing, Though I don't grow any Fraileas now, in the past I did at one stage have a number of species, and in midsummer with strong sunlight they all revealed their lovely flowers. One additional ben...

Re: Preparing for winter
Thank you all for ideas and suggestions.
It seems obvious to do it horizintally so just a number of 20ft lengths. No why didn't I think of that?!!

Preparing for winter
Until relatibely recently I've had wooden greenhouses, but I replaced it when we moved house 5 years ago with my first ever aluminium one, a Rhino. So far, I have'nt used bubblewrap for winter insulation on this one, just have progressively reduced the thermostat settings, but I'm worried about doin...
