Re: June journal

I really like this idea. I would pay for this kind of thing if it were put on Amazon kindle.

Maybe going forward you could get author permission for future uses such as compilation and electronic publishing at the point of submission?

Drought hastens decline of the Joshua tree, California's des

http://www.latimes.com/science/la-me-joshua-20150607-story.html Under canopies of dead angular branches and drooping fronds, UC Riverside ecologist Cameron Barrows made his way across a forest of skeletal Joshua trees that have not reproduced in decades. As Barrows explained, it's a tough time to be...

Two wrongs don't make a right.
I'd expect it to make a vigorous hybrid wrong that outcompetes the parent wrongs and the right.

I may have overwatered my sansevieria ehrenbergii and would like to take some leaf cuttings for propagation while I wait for it to dry out before I repot it. What's the best way to take leaf cuttings? It is a pretty thick tough leaf. I'm not that worried about appearance as it was a pretty badly sca...

Re: Look what I found under the staging

I have found magnifying lenses are important for hunting them. I thought I had cleaned a plant with the paint brush and rubbing alcohol when I looked with the naked eye but then I put on the illuminated magnifying headset I use for pollinating and was stunned by the amount of mealies I had missed. I...

Re: A Gasteria question

Those will definitely grow. Just be warned that they can be very slow. I've had some take over a year but then I got about 8 new plants from two leaves. If it is batesiana (I think this is the species) you might be able to get them root all along one edge of a leaf rather than just at one cut end an...
