Re: October: Mesembs other than Lithops
I have a few of these! I usually like many mesembs the most when they are dormant. Cerochlamys pachyphylla - summer active (for me), but flowers in December every year. It is one of my favourite mesembs. PC050103.jpg Muiria hortenseae PB040009.jpg Conophytum pellucidum - just about to wake up PA0100...

Re: Rose of Texas?
They are more into cacti for some reason. But true, if they do have other succulents, usually it will be Lithops. Odd though, that all of the Czech seed lists that I know of is so highly aimed at cacti. While if I look at what Czech sellers sell at the ELK, then they do sell almost only African plan...

Re: Rose of Texas?
The BCSS list usually has some Lithops. The place to go for lots is the Mesemb Study Group, although the seed list tends to come out a little too late in the spring compared to when I like to sow. But Brugge lives in France at the looks of it, so the BCSS and MSG (although MSG does organise a bulk ...

Re: Rose of Texas?
Thank you all for the advice, l think l will give them a go. ADBLPS in France should be updating the seed list next month or so. Last year there weren't many Lithops on the list, but maybe this year there will be more: https://www.adblps-graines-cactus.com/commander.html. But you could always order...

Re: Rose of Texas?
Are Lithops easy to grow from seed? some beutifull looking flowers there. How long would it take from seed to get them to flower like that. Not very hard. Depends a bit on your growing experience. Just give it a go! Seeds are easy to obtain. And trying gives you experience to do better a year later...
