Re: A neglected plant
That is brillant Bill, thanks! Mind you yours looks much better than my poor old thing. Some, as you can see, completely brown I assume dead, others fighting with a bit of green. On kitchen window and gets evening sun. Very warm in there as well.

Re: An Easter plant arrangement
Yes no real interest in this ivy (having been fighting with the normal ivy outside in the garden rather fed up of the stuff ) and the "Peace Lily" is a nice plant but got this arrangement for the Easter cactus.

Re: A neglected plant
Thank yo uBill! I have the plant now on the kitchen window as there are still showers about, and it seems a little cooler out there - this window only gets the setting sun. It was outside in the rain but thought it was damp enough. Will leave it now for a few days to see how it goes.

Re: A neglected plant
That is an eminently rescuable Haworthia! (attenuata?) In fact there may well be a dozen or more plants that can come from this. Re: A neglected plant
I think its an Haworthia, Sue. If it had been me I'd of pushed it aside to get to those empty ring binders  Here I have done that before now you know, The "trays" I use to place my plants outside in the garden are, ahem, actually old trays that the children use for their "...

A neglected plant
12514 055.JPG Now this sorry looking plant I rescued this year from the local primary school's bins. It use to sit on the Year 2 windowsill and I always thought "if they ever don't want that I will take it". It moved around then, following a good clear out there it was, sitting on top of ...

An Easter plant arrangement
12514 053.JPG Hope this works! Instead of an Easter egg this year, my mother let me have this arrangement - why this one and not the ones that my daughter liked? - that is the wicker rabbit baskets? Why because of the, I assume, the "Easter cactus" in the container! Flowered for a while, ...

Re: Lithops seedlings
John - "avoid the heat" are they better on the cooler side for germination then?
