I´ll be visiting Specks in the middle of May, and even that may be a bit early for the Euphorbias I`m looking for. Two years ago he told us that a lot of african plants arrives middle-late june.Will be interesting to hear what you found this early in the season

I tried to download five-six times with no succés,the downloading just stopped after a few hundred KBs, but yesterday I could download and read the latest issue just like all the earlier ones . Strange....

Have ordered from them a few times maybe ten years ago and they were OK. Should be so even today I think.

Hello Mike! If you are going to ELK in september you might find quite a few of the mentioned plants. Otherwise you could order from Exotica (Ernst Speck) or some other Continental nurseries.

E. decaryi, E. cylindrifolia, E.pachypodioides, E.ambovombensis, E. moratti. Small and very nice.

Recieved my copy of the journal yesterday so I don´t think there would be anything left of what i would like to have,just have to wait for next year and hope for quicker distribution of the journal then.

I never met Mr Maddams in person but I did correspond with him a few times and it was very special to get a handwritten letter from him. I thought him almost indestructible. He will be sorely missed by all cactus friends all over Europe.
