Re: hello :-)
Hello Lucie Welcome to the forum . I can't help much with your plants but there are some really knowledgeable people here many of whom keep Mesembs and I expect you'll get an ID and advice on cultivation. Meanwhile here's some light reading The Lithops Page  Good luck with your plants. Eddie

Re: South Norfolk group open show
Thanks Ray
Nice day out - saw some great plants (and bough some nice ones too)
Love the 'outdoor' feel and think the daylight suited the display really well.

Re: Scented Succulents?
DaveW If you have Trrichocerei that flower this year would you mind staying up to find out  I've always been a bit of a night owl so I would at least go and see the flowers and I assume scent would linger in the morning. antisepp Thanks for some more names - I will definitely look into them. ...

Re: The Russians Are Coming er Cultivating!
Ian I found that site fascinating - there seems to be a fair amount going on in the Ukraine re our hobby! and I do admire the way people overcome adversity and develop what must be a difficult hobby in their climes (political and meteorological)! I didn't think of importing because I didn't think I'...

Re: Scented Succulents?
I've decided to avoid Chemists and camphor (be like a mothball with spines) and go for nicer scents. I am suprised how few scented cacti and other succulents there are. Most of the night blooming epiphytic species and most of the Hoyas are strongly scented and yet so few of the others? Ralph I was o...

The Russians Are Coming er Cultivating!
Very Interesting Site from collectors in the Crimea/Ukraine: Lapshin.org Indoor Floriculture . Some of the pages in English or Google translated from the Russian. Of special interest is the 'Cultivar Book' (may be the world's biggest FAQ  ) and exhibitions in glass cases - quite a few species...

Re: Scented Succulents?
Thanks Ralph
I know about Hoyas and Epiphytic cacti re scent - I have a big H carnosa ponging up the porch as I write.
I was thinking more of the 'typical' cacti and succulents as they are not renowned for scent and I would like a small scented collection.
