Re: Flowers for Succulentophiles
Yes, it's a nightmare of naming Paul. Our esteemed President considers it perfoliata. Who are we to disagree?

Re: Flowers for Succulentophiles
It's an impressive flower spike but the colour is a bit wishy washy.

Re: Winter growers
I think I see in Ralph's collection Pelargonium cortusifolium which I highly recommend. Apart from being a handsome plant it has the bonus of scented pink and white flowers.

Re: Winter growers
Let's try again. This is Pelargonium oblongatum. As you can see it grows very big leaves and I understand that in habitat some Conophytums shelter under them. The leaves will die back in early spring and it should then produce beautiful yellow flowers. IMG_20191223_1151104_rewind_kindlephoto-6580354...

Re: Growing winter growers
I should have said mine are only at 10c because they share the greenhouse with the Stapeliads.

Re: Growing winter growers
My Pelargoniums and Othonnas are in the greenhouse at about 10c and perfectly happy. Now that they are all in full leaf they need watering once a week.

Yes I don't know why it came out like that.
