Hi Philippe,
I have for several years now a plant labelled Delosperma recurvum. I doubt the name, however, I don't have another ID.

It looks similar to your plant.
Cheers,

Re: The 3 worst cultural mistakes you've done?
Hi, No misting at all in between? By the way, curious to know, do Lithops and Conophytum have (somewhat) the same cycle up there in the southern hemisphere of New Zealand? Most conos are winter growers (at least the ones I had minimum and bilobum) while Lithops are exclusive winter growers as far I ...

Re: The 3 worst cultural mistakes you've done?
Hi there, Lithops can take a watering once a week, but you also might stick to a thoroughly watering once a month and a regular misting spray in between on a regular basis. The first will balloon your Lithops, the second gives a higher chance of keeping the Lithops flat. Lithops don't need much wate...

Re: Leaf arrangements in mesembs...
Hi Laurent, Some mesembs can be heterophyllous (= having leaves of different types upon the same plant) but I have not noticed such a thing. I mean such variation in leaf arrangement. All leaves may be similar (plant homophyllous) or different types of leaf pairs may be present (plant heterophyllous...

Re: The 3 worst cultural mistakes you've done?
Hi, It's usually sunburn and failing to repot / quarantine new additions. However, I had two major disasters by accident. When I moved to my new house few years ago I forgot few trays with plants over night exposed to the cold winter rain (this is the short version of the story) - over the next mont...

Re: mystery succuent
Hi,
I think it's some kind of Peperomia - P. ferreyrae and P. dolabriforme look somewhat similar, but I can't get closer than this.
Cheers,
Eduart

Re: Puya raimondii in flower
This is really amazing - such a vegetal mass at high altitude, in a mountainous desert where usually only grasses or other small plants thrive!

Offsetting Astrophytum (Digitostigma) caput-medusae
Hi there, A Romanian friend having a fabulous collection - Basarab Popa of Constanta (a city at the Black Sea) - has posted on a local forum two very interesting photos of an Astrophytum (Digitostigma) caput-medusae offsetting from the areoles placed at the tip of the long tubercules: http://www.cac...

Re: litter
Hi Iann, The right stuff is not Sepiolite. What about natural Zeolite used by some manufacturers? You want calcined Moler clay, actually more diatomaceous earth than clay. It is a pinkish beige and it hisses when you get it wet. I also realized that I had used this one two years ago without really k...

Re: litter
Hi there, Cat litter is basically Sepiolite, a very porous magnesium silicate complex. My understanding is that Sepiolite does only moderately contribute with precious macro or micro elements, but it takes up a lot of water which is basically very good. However, I prefer crushed clay bricks or old c...
