I'm finding it more reluctant to flower than the red one. Such fantastic plants, both! My greenhouse here went down to similar temperatures (-7C) and the two M. senilis produced a good crop of flowers this year. The red one has almost finished now, the white one is in full bloom now.

These are lovely! When do they normally start flowering for you? I have three small seed-grown plants which have been flowering for the past couple of years or so, but considerably later (early June in a cold frame).

This might be a really daft question, but what makes this golden? Is it some form of variegation? It makes for a very attractive plant for sure...

How old are those seedlings, fatich? I am just trying to get a sense of how quick these grow. Your E. bokei looks lovely, Iann! I might have to look out for some seeds of these for next year.

I am sure we had discussions like this before… Personally, I am not particularly specialist in what I grow so greatly appreciate the breadth of topics on here. I wouldn’t be surprised if the current lull was weather-related!
