Hi I say go for it, if the plants out grow the space in a few years, biuld a biger greenhouse. A raised bed might be better, insulated underneath, to stop damp and cold. I think I would give them 2 or 3 light sprayings over a week or so and wait to see signs of growth. Once they have started growth you can start watering. Good luck. If the fertiliser is non-organic (one of the many powdered varieties) I would have thought you could microwave the mixture with fertiliser added without any ill effects.
