Re: Plant Records
Thanks Ralph. I have had occasion to use CSV files in the past and have not considered them in this context. Certainly worth thinking about.

I have Evernote on my laptop - though I have never got the hang of it fully. I will have another look at it and see if it works for me.
Thanks for the tip

Re: Plant Records
Thank you all for your helpful comments. At the moment Excel seems to be the way to go bearing in mind that as it stands it will contain some 10 records
I think I will follow Rod's format when setting up the spreadsheet, I can always delete any columns that I don't tend to use.
Thanks again

Re: John (Duns) saying hello
Thanks Kathy,
As I live in Wetherby it is a toss-up between York or Leeds (decisions, decisions)
A decision I will need to make when I actually apply for Society Membership (I will do that in the next week)
Is the Leeds Branch very active and well attended?

John (Duns) saying hello

I am a complete novice and have read a fair bit on the subject but now need to get going. I hope to pick up some valuable tips/guidance on the forum and when I feel confident enough joi...
