Honestly Iann, I don't know, I'm interested in namibian Lithops since 2010.iann wrote: Are they just younger, or do you think they are naturally smaller? My one ssp archerae is a modest double-header and it is over 10 years old. The Pulmonuncula are younger but larger.

Hi Iann,
My biggest L. pseudotruncatella is the one shown above : subsp. archerae ex-C 104, about 6cm large.
My subsp. pulmonuncula are smaller.

Hi Iann,
I started to water when the old leaves were completely dry, depending on the species, in late July or early August.
The summer was very hot here, sometimes 35°C ...
The conos were thirsty ... me too ...

All my "Alpinas" are a pretty normal size for L. pseudotruncatella, although smaller than some of the known big types like ssp groendrayensis and "Pulmonuncula". Maybe I pump them up with too much water, although I doubt it. 8cm pot so not huge, but definitely bigger than 1cm. I...
