Succulents in flower

As a self-confessed succulent nut I felt it was time to put some of their flowers on the Forum after all those lovely cactus ones we have been having recently. To start Echeveria 'Perle von Nurnberg'

Robert, these flowers are extremely thin and weigh hardly anything, the plant would never topple over, even if it were covered in flowers.

More fabulous flowers! That is a stunner. There are so many beautiful flowers at the moment and they seem to get better and better.

What a wonderful flower. There have been a lot of fabulous Echinopsis flowers this week, it's a pity that they last such a short time.

That's a magnificent plant Peter(no pun intended). It does take up a lot of room and it doesn't look as though there is much of that in your greenhouse. What else have you got in there? I'm don't suppose I'm the only one, who would like a look round.

Another Echinopsis flower to add to the rest. This is an ancient plant but this year has surpassed itself with flowers. There have been two already, which dropped off, now these three and I counted eleven more buds. Last year it did nothing but with that weather its not surprising [attachment 11008 ...

Devrim, I looked up your Echinopsis link and the photos have been removed, shame! BTW what is the up date on the Agave that is coming into flower on the road near you?

Marty, Love your Semp bed. They should do really well outside, especially if they get plenty of sun. I have loads of Semps,mostly in pots, but some of the tougher ones in the rock garden. A few are starting to flower and I expect to have a few more flowering soon. I'll put some photos on at some tim...
