Re: Hi from me and my E. Obesas. :)

Hi Vic and thanks! :) Phil, yeppers, I have a paper skirt and seedling bell around/over her for fear of losing my precious seeds. When they pop I will jump out of my skin, I bet. :) Here's all three Forbies together, Mama has her cage, poor gal. You can also see a good big fat houseleek which has be...

Re: Ready made collection??

Wow, what a collection. It must be heartbreaking to have to part with them all.. :( And I agree... my oldest E. Obesa has some scars where I let her get too much sunlight with the curtains shut. Re: Skywards Part 10 Day 120

Wow!!! What an amazing plant!!

The caterpillars love that, ours is reduced to stalks every year. However, it's a particular type of caterpillar (small and g...

Hi from me and my E. Obesas. :)

Hi folks, I'm Julie from Northants, proud owner of 3 Euphorbia Obesa : Old Girl, Girlie and Mama. Due to my previous transient student lifestyle, my teenage collection of about 100 plants (to my mother's relief) has diminished/limited to "things which my mother does not kill when I'm away"...

Re: Another silly question :-D / reclamation or disposal??

I have to giggle at that! My mother was not best pleased at the thought of soil in the microwave when I talked about growing seeds. I wonder, does microwaving damage the organic components of the soil, like it does the vitamins in food? Presumable minerals are undamaged. Is microwaved soil less nutr...
