This is a first (for me) - seed pods

I've been growing Ceropegia woodii for many years now but for the first time it has seed pods developing.........

No more special treatment than any other year, it just gets tied to the fence post in shade. It's a happy plant..........

Anyway, my Manfreda elongata seems to appreciate a cold winter and this year is no exception............ https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1828/41537884650_295366aa9c...

Thanks for the replies.

Re: A new pest in our greenhouses

This has been the worst year that I've had for Tortrix moth caterpillars. As I grow a lot of Salvia this is especially bad news as they love the tender tips where the inflorescence starts to form. I allowed a load of Nasturtium to self seed by the greenhouse door as they're a favourite of the cabbag...

Re: Albuca spiralis

Has anyone ever managed to collect seed from their plant? I have read that Albuca spiralis is self-fertile, but I tried to pollinate the flowers last year and had no luck. But then if the Dutch grow plants aren't a true A. spiralis who knows if it's self-fertile I guess. My plant produced seed in 2...
