Orostachys iwarenge
A couple of months ago I bought myself an Orostachys iwarenge. It's proving to be a rampant grower and I really like it........... https://farm1.staticflickr.com/900/42265532044_bcf3415d45_k.jpg Orostachys iwarenge by longk48 , on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1778/42265525824_d74b68d8b6_z.j...

Re: Albuca spiralis
I agree that it seems late. Mine bloomed just over a month ago which surprised me as I thought that I had lost it because the large bulb rotted in my unheated greenhouse. I was going to toss it but I spotted new foliage coming up to the side and lo, one bloomed............ https://farm1.staticflickr...

Re: Graptopetalum rusbyi
As always, thank you for the replies (tu) I know very little about the Crassulaceae but I grow a rather different looking plant as G. rusbyi . The plant below is about 12cm across and is a clone from Arizona that has been circulating among alpine growers for some time. It does have similar flowers t...

Re: Echinopsis question and id
Once again I find myself saying thank you for sharing your knowledge
I must admit that the bloom, albeit rather mullered by slugs, was rather smaller than my E.subdenudata.

Lovely aren't they! I don't know why they are not more commonly seen, around here at least.
Mine is a bit behind yours but it has been outdoors for a few weeks now.

Graptopetalum rusbyi
Graptopetalum rusbyi is probably my favourite thing at the moment succulent wise. It has taken about a year since buying it to get it into bloom but well worth the wait................ https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1725/42641757161_c5b2cb8dcd_c.jpg Graptopetalum rusbyi by longk48 , on Flickr https:...

Thank youjohno wrote:hi
T senilis is very tender and if outside any cold or cold winds can cause rot to start .
johno
Do you mean in combination with dampness during autumn, winter and spring or are you including summer as well?
