It Is from the Wigginsia section of Notocactus, now Parodia. The seed pods do not appear until the following season after flowering and are pink in colour. The New Cactus Lexicon gives no credence to this name no matter how you spell it. It is almost certainly a form of Parodia (Notocactus) erinacea...

Watch out for snails and slugs; they love 'new' food. As the plants will have to survive outside for a period try to have some staging for them to sit on, especially smaller, softer plants.
