How can one tell apart? I entered the website that supposedly is the website run by the couple and, as I'm not a specialist regarding succulents, I could not tell if those plants are wild collected or not. I even don't know if those caudex-plants are endangered or rare or sought after. Someone like ...

This is not a CITES problem. It is just depredation of protected plants in protected areas. In all our countries we have National Parks, Specially protected Zones etc. Imagine people 'harvesting' plants for posterior selling on an succulent/rare plants/bulbs ... website. They would be prosecuted by ...

Is there a way to know which website/vendor is behind these - errhh - business(wo)men ? If it was illegal to collect those plants than it could well be that other plants already offered are from previous ... enterprises. At least the different forums in Europe could warn from buying there. Call me n...

Antimima argentea

First flowers of 7 months old Antimima agentea. Nice colour, little flowers - nearly 2cm across. Seems to be free flowering, for there are 17 buds to open.
