Hi Maria, The Saguaro is without question a magnificent plant and its not until you see them as naturally growing mature plants that you can appreciate their size.

Hi Vic, We spent a couple of days in the Phoenix area and travelled north to the Grand Canyon, Brice Canyon, Zion Canyon and Monument Valley. We then travelled west accross to Las Vegas. Not cacti all the way but still managed to see lots. More pics to follow!

Hi Chris, I thoroughly enjoyed the Desert Botanical gardens a magical place, so well laid out and maintained.

And finally for now a fine specimen of Saguaro (Carnegia gigantea) just showing how masive they can be close up.
I will add more photo's over the weekend!
