Me too!
Poor plant. Well rescued, Jim. Will you denude it of the monstrosities with some meths?
Colin's tummy will turn when he sees that shocking pot.

What amazing plants Brian! I have not seen them before.
Are they easy for newbies to grow from seed?

Re: Flowering now
Liz, that is a beautiful plant in a beautiful pot. I have a similar Crassula on the kitchen window sill and it flowers readily. Just in a boring pot, although it does like to try to cascade down to the draining board. I'll have to keep a lookout for a suspendable pot, now I have seen your idea, (tu)

Re: Pachypodium brevicaule questions
Diane, what a gorgeous plant. You must be very proud of it! And the babies too. I've never seen one for sale, and at least now I know they are hard to grow and to RESIST, for the sake of the plant. Just like C. burgeri... I would love a red jelly tot but there would be tears before long.

Re: Semi hydroponic culture
I once put a F. pulchra in sand alone, with the little red ChemPak providing its nutrients. It never flowered, and eventually shrivelled and died. I had read somewhere that it did not like something in JI2, was it lime? So the road to the greenhouse in the sky was paved with my good intention....

Christer, you're a hothouse flower too!
Gotta love that dear little Noto. I also thought that Mr. Hairy was a lot older.

Re: What ever next?..........
Yuck... I draw the line at roses and fruit trees. And even then it's a rose on another rose, apple onto another apple etc. Unless it's for medical reasons - eg. a beloved poor rooter losing its roots to mealies, needing to be sped along before it dries up. Whatever next... the world is going stark r...
