Some time ago I used unrooted pereskiopsis cuttingss for grafting because the stock grew way too tall. I wasn't too happy with the results because pereskiopsis dries faster on top if cut at bottom. Of course I could have been wrong way back then because I had less than 50 'volunteers' to play with. ...

@Acid John: So true That's why I asked here. As far as I know, Interpol deals with such (if) bogus websites but I doubt they ever get your money back...

@edds: so far, 99% of opuntias grew roots. I wish I can say the same for 'cerei-type' grafting stock

One moment, while carrying the tray with tephro-maihueno-opuntio beasts, was enough.. One moment = 30 mins of pricking the spines out from skin and sweats
