I agree with Tony R. There is always a thing or two that someone would add or do differently, but basically what he did is whats needed and good enough. 20 years (of sun and rain) later I can still read pencil that I used to write on labels. Names are not sharp, but are still readable.

I had a lot of problems with mentioned one (snail). Those were not the only buds it ate. I put poison around cacti too late, so had to search (i.e. inspect pots one by one) for it for a while untill I found it. I don't like harming animals of any kind but this one went down the drain.
