Naming conventions when selling plants

Could anybody offer any advice on what information it is correct to put on a plant label when selling. For instance, if I purchased a plant with a label stating something along the lines that the plant was "propagated from the XYZ National Collection" and later I sold offsets, or indeed th...

Re: Your ideal pot / container?

I prefer round plastic pots or hexagonal over square ones, good solid quality like the BEF ones (the round versions). Plain, terracotta colour, good drainage with multiple holes which aren't huge. Some short and some extra long for tap rooted plants. With a rim.

Re: A konjack

Unfortunately mine is the same this year Eric although I was quite optimistic of a (first ever) flower. Just wondering do you fertilise at all, if so what are you using? I haven't this year so far but probably will from now on.

Re: Amorphorphallus konjac

Mine is also about 6 inches diameter and has never flowered, it's just sprung to life so I'm hoping this will be the year. Are the "offsets" independent tubers? If so, apart from taking nutrient from the compost, I guess they shouldn't affect the main tuber. I don't know about those little...

Re: North West Cactus Mart

Once again an excellent NW Mart and thoroughly enjoyable day out. I thought the change of layout worked very well. With my greenhouses almost full to bursting I managed to keep my buying urges under control and limited myself to purchases of Gymnocalyciums and Haworthias only. Got some great ones to...

Re: Keeping Record

I use Google sheets for records of my plants. I record names, when purchased, price, seller, watering regime, fertilizer requirements, compost, synonyms, origin and habitat info and whatever else comes to mind. It has similar functionality to Excel but as I have an Android phone linked to my Google ...

Haworthia Society Seed List

I just received my seeds ordered from the Haworthia Society Spring Seed List with just a few substitutes for sold out species. Many thanks to Les and Tony for processing the order so quickly and special thanks to the seed donors for their generosity.

So now I'm off to do some sowing

Thanks Bryan, that seems to shed some light.

Re: March 2018. Haworthias in collection or habitat

I've nothing which could match Suculentia's impressive plants but nevertheless here's one of mine. It's labelled as H. mucronata v polyphylla, as it was when I bought it, but I couldn't find much information online about this so if there is a more correct name please let me know.... Hmucronatapolyph...
