I have this plant labelled as Airampoa Loomsii but I cannot find any information under that name. Any thoughts?

I raised half a dozen of these an few years ago - the mother is Thelocactus Conothelos v Aurantiacus with typical small bright yellow flowers but I have no idea who the father is (other than another Thelo). The hybrid flowers are peachy orange and fully 3.5 inches across.

Note spelling Kalanchoe Orgyalis rather than Orygalis is known as 'Copper Spoons' for obvious reasons. The literature recommends bringing it inside for the winter above 40F but I've had no problem keeping it just frost free and it flowers every year with an unusual spike of pod like yellow flowers. ...

Those in the lava based compost are usually grown outdoors in the Canaries. It's a good idea to keep the '12 month freshness' guarantee as it's rare for Melos to survive their first winter away from where they were grown. What's very surprising on closer inspection is that it seems to be planted in a very open crushed lava based compost rather than that horrible coir stuff that is often used so no need to repot for the time being.

Tesco bargain

Found in my local Tesco this morning for just £5 - including unwanted ceramic.

Looks like Melocactus Matanzanus with cephalium just forming, and no mealies or body marks so a bit of a bargain.
