Hello, yes, it's a Gymno, but I can't be of much help as to what type, I'm afraid. There's been a lot of moving around gone on in the greenhouse and I am unable to identify which it is.

Re: Peter in Whitchurch
Hi, I would be interested in a Copiapoa cinerea columna-alba of any size? That is one Copiapoa I have been trying to get for my collection. Hi, Just one left. Although it's a small plant, you will see that it is not a standard home grown specimen. It's rather special. Please PM me if you are intere...

Re: Peter in Whitchurch
Thanks Matt. Very clever of you to avoid getting me on that picture. It really would have deterred people from visiting. But it was great that you and Peter came. A good time was had by all!

Re: Peter in Whitchurch
Now, now, Matt, this word 'cheap' is alien to me in the context of me selling things to other people. On the other hand , if I'm actually buying something, its meaning is crystal clear. I'm glad that we've had this discussion because you're due here to buy some plants and now you full well know what...

Re: Peter in Whitchurch
Hi Deltron, Thanks for the kind comment about the collection. I have spent many a night out there with a shotgun, trying my best to keep out these succulent and caudiciform things. However some did creep in, probably during those frequent occasions when the wife sent me to the off licence for a bott...

Re: Peter in Whitchurch
Thank you Brian and also thanks to those who have travelled here and have made rather nice comments about the plants, etc. I made the decision to sell off plants that I have grown for over 30 years because life's departure lounge nears (another 20 years hopefully but who knows?) and I would not wish...

Re: Peter in Whitchurch
Well, that's so very kind of Ralph. I suppose that my greenhouse has now turned into a cactus nursery. For the benefit of those who would like to bolster their own collection, here are images of the content of my greenhouse as it is today. All items available now. (3).JPG[/attachment] IMG_0001 (3).J...
