I also had problems with sciarid fly larvae in June this year and lost a whole pot of Echinocereus seedlings to them. As a precaution I then sprayed all my seedlings with Provado, which seemed to deal with the fly larvae. Unfortunately the side effect was that virtually all my 2013 seedlings receive...

My pseudopectinatus is buding now, the weather is 8-15 ℃and very dry. Whether I need to stop water till their flowering finish? Or give a little water per week though they are flowering? Your post suggests that you are watering at present. My Turbinicarpus plants get no water at all between October...
