I think you're right, Chris. The last photo on that ICN page, with the 2 subspecies side by side, seems pretty conclusive. The seed came from Silverhills just labelled C. mesembryanthoides. I'll do a label amendment.

This Crassula mesembryanthoides shoot was very keen to grow some roots. One is fairly conventional (green arrow). The other (red arrow) started out normally but took a detour into the leaf before then exiting.

This is a recent acquisition, I think it's Pilosocereus pachycladus, but can anyone either confirm this or give an alternative, please? Sorry, the flower isn't focussed too well.

I'd also go for X Alworthia Black Gem. The colour varies enormously depending on exposure to sunlight, and how new the growth is (starts green then colours up); and the description of offsetting freely fits well.

Correct on both counts, Ian. Cyphostemma juttae. The paper is the sheet with class details.
