Re: pure pumice?
Both Chempak 4 and 8 have trace elements so no need to add anything else. Chempak 8 contains no calcium at all. It is probably designed to use with John Innes and other soils that have ground chalk or limestone added. They sell a soluble calcium supplement as well, probably calcium nitrate but they...

Re: pure pumice?
How much feed would be best for watering into the pumice please? I normally use Chempak 4 and 8. Does anything else need adding, sometimes I've added a little vinegar and Epsom Salts. Both Chempak 4 and 8 have trace elements so no need to add anything else. Don't add Epsom salts or anything else fo...

Thank you everyone
It's 20% done already but I think that's just because we've done the easy bits
I'll post a pic when complete just to show it can be done, they are addictive but will still take a few days

Cactus presents
Sitting around this winter due to covid and lack of allotment/cactus work we've been doing a lot of jigsaws.
So I was delighted to get this 1000 piece puzzle today for my birthday:

Re: Brexit deal and imports
And there I was, looking forward to the re-emergence of UK nurseries supplying the plants we would like. Just like it used to be. No need to bother about phytocertificates and international regulations when you trade in nation. There's nothing stopping UK nurseries supplying plants right now...
