It's either too little water or not much root, I'd check the roots are OK and, if so, give it some water, not too much at once though or it could split.

Re: Agave cultivars
Is this the same National as the one coming up in 2016 on the BCSS website? http://www.society.bcss.org.uk/index.ph ... -part.html

Re: Agave cultivars
They're all Mangaves, including Navajo Princess, coming to a garden centre nearby soon from what I've seen of the wholesale distribution. They're all being cloned in large numbers. Looks like we might have to have a four week wait though.

Re: Lithops identity please
I usually try to help with id questions but I'm not much good at Lithops, they all seem like one species with different coloured leaves to me. Usually, seeing a good quality collection of plants 'in the flesh' helps and it certainly has for identifying Gasterias. When I saw a Lithops collection with...

Re: Sunburst leaves!
Aeonium, along with Echeverias and Adromischus can sometimes have a rooted leaf that annoyingly doesn't get beyond being a rooted leaf. You'll have to wait and see what happens.

Re: Lithops ID please
Well done, people go to lots of effort to produce pseudo-habitat shots with extra carefully placed rocks and grit, you've managed it without trying. Nice photo.

Re: Jakub Jilemicky Haworthia sale
If you can wait, Jakub is in the UK every two years at the Haworthia Convention. Always well-grown plants at good prices and he knows his plants well.

Re: Haworthia indoors under grow lights all year round
Years ago, when Dartford Branch used to have a show, there was an exhibitor each year who grew perfect plants of various succulent genera all in his loft with lighting so it's clearly possible. The problem as you point out is that very little is written about growing under lights. At the Haworthia S...

Re: Euphorbia obesa subsp. symmetrica male & female
Euphorbias having a sex change, at least if you buy two Symmetricas and they turn out to be the same sex you can send one to the Netherlands for a sex change. When you do have a mating couple there's the fun of catching the seed as they fly around the greenhouse, plus the fact that self-sown seedlin...

Re: Euphorbia obesa subsp. symmetrica male & female
Symmetrica has always been a bit expensive and it's hard to justify as it looks the same as Obesa. I can't tell the difference. If you find them for £15 for a pair then I'd go for it, can't see any problem in post from Malta though there's always the risk of receiving a pair of same-sex Obesas. Mile...
