pH Digital water testing meters.

Although I am a succulent grower I attended an orchid Society meeting a few nights ago.(by the way I do not grow Orchids) A gentleman had a pH digital water testing meter. Several members had brought little bottles in with tap water and water butt water. As he tested the samples ,it was clear that t...

Re: White flowered Christmas Cactus

I bought a white and a pink flowered from a small independant shop this week. Price £2.99 each, nice plants with plenty of buds. The message with them says to stand them above a pebbled dish of water. I am pleased with them.............Roger.

Greenhouse heater

Can anyone recommend a decent greenhouse heater with a lead to a thermostat. It must be floor standing and one or two kilowatt. I use Parwins in my other greenhouses, great heaters but not made anymore. Looking on the internet I have not found anything.......................help please.................

I grew lots of these cultivars at one time with the pink flower. One parent was G denudatum. The pink flower was the object.....................Roger.

I live in East Anglia and my large collection of Echeverias and Aeoniums go outside for their Summer Holidays. Echeveria laui is the only one that stays in ...

Re: Stopping vine weevils with thick gravel?

Hi Alan,
Provado has never left any marks on my Echeverias. Come the end of May when frosts are finished all my Echeverias and Aeoniums will go outside. Even in last Summers rain they stayed outside. They put on growth and had a good wash......Roger.

Hi, Just to say that I use Provado on my large Echeveria collection and on my Aeoniums and its fine with my plants. I also use ant powder to stop meally and that works well for me.....Roger.....
