For my Echeverias I use Ant powder and it works for me. My echeverias go outside in the Summer and get a rain wash and a clean up.............no mealies..................Roger

Hi Diane,
Just to say that all my Echeverias go outside for the Summer months. I n fact they have all just returned to the green houses for winter. Despite the rain this summer they all stayed out and it did them no harm, in fact they put on a lot of growth...................Roger.

Hi Tony, For getting rid of mealy Bug I use Ant Powder and it works for me. Ant Powder containers say "Ant Powder" and other crawling insects. I also sprinkle it onto trays that contain plants. I use it on my Echeverias. Anyhow thats what I do..............Roger.

I too love the handmade pots. If only a maker or seller of these pots had a stall at the National or other shows I am sure there would be a lot of interest. Maybe a Cactus nursery could have a selection as I'm sure they would be a good money spinner. If any cactus nursery reads this then there maybe...

Hi Liz and Bruce. Sugared Almonds.........Ooo yes please. I do have Pachyphytum oviferum (Sugared Almonds) but I think the bowl maybe Pachyphytum bracteosum (Moonstones) as this plant offsets very freely. Many thanks for the pictures Bruce. Aichryson tortuosum is just coming into flower despite the rain and its been outside since May. A pleasent mass of flowers shows up nice in the sun. Roger

All my BCSS Seed this year (only Gasteria seed ) failed. I have grown BCSS Seed for many many years and have some very large plants to be proud of............You win some....you lose some.....thats life.................I'm looking forward to the National to meet friends old and new to spill tea with...
