By far the best germinating seeds are those I've been given by other Forum members particularly Aiko. The down side is that I have ended up with masses and now they are at the stage they need repotting. As many as possible! Only trouble is I end up with over a 100 of the same thing!! Anybody want any Astrophytums/ Neobuxbaumia/ Echinocereus!!

Hi Paul I'm about 25 miles north of Clacton on the east coast. Do you think that will still be worth a go? I have a South facing garden but it's very open and exposed and the wind blows across the fields at times.

Hi i bought a Hercules aluminium which comes with toughened glass and automatic roof opening vents as standard. Also has side opening louvres. I set about designing and building my own three storey staging using timber and coating it in yacht varnish. I should add we also built a solid concrete base...

Wow that's brilliant advice thank you. I haven't yet chopped the plants up yet as waiting for some new blades to arrive. Once I do though I will follow your instructions and post on the forum how I get on! Thanks to everyone for pointing out the toxicity of the latex - not something I had considered...
