Re: New additions from ELK

Hi Tina, yes I still have my plant, and it seems to be happy with me. I always think of it as a type of low spreading version of my Dendrosicyos Socotrana,s, and I give it similar care. IE. it likes to be warm, 16c minimum and above, and not watered too often. I just water it enough to keep it from ...

Re: New additions from ELK

Hi Tina,
yes, Colin is right. I bought one of these from Specks in 2011 at the ELK. It is indeed Corallocarpus Glomeruliflorus.
They are very nice plants

The South Norfolk Mini Convention

Hello, I attended this convention yesterday 11/08/2013, and I would just like thank the organisers, and the helpers that made it a very enjoyable afternoon. We had two very good speakers, ie. Tony Roberts gave a very interesting talk (divided into two parts) on smaller Opuntias, and Bob Potter gave ...

Re: Doug Rowland

Very sad. I too, would like to offer my condolences to Vivi. I have never met them, but I have had years of pleasure growing seeds supplied by them. As others have said, they have left a large void in UK seed supplies for succulent growers. They always had extremely interesting seed lists, with reas...

Hi Roger,

Re: In your opinion, which are the 3 worst pests in succulen

I grow many of my plants in a heated greenhouse, and I personaly find that red spider mite is by far my most annoying pest. I find myself treating infestations on a regular basis. I have periods where everything appears to be fine, but never for very long. After red spider mite, comes mealy bug, fol...

Re: ELK

Thank you Hugo and Bill for the ELK link. I do not think that it is loading correctly on my PC. All I can get is the left hand side of a page, showing on the right hand side of my screen, and there is nothing showing for me to click-on to advance the page. But thank you both anyway Best wishes Tony H
