From the shape of the leaves and the flower I would suggest it to be Aloinopsis Rubrolineata. This has triangular cross-section leaves with the white spotting and red-lined flowers.

I was out shopping yesterday and saw this example of abuse being perpetrated on succulents. They had been covered in various different coloured glitter flakes and were being sold as cactii! I agree completely. I have tried a number of different brands of J.I. over the past few years.Some have been indistinguishable from a peat based multi-purpose compost.
