Re: March cactusworld

My copy arrived on Thursday, as always, lots to read and so much of interest. Thanks and well done to the team - surely Cactusworld must be one of the best specialist society journals.

Re: Mam Z double flower

Hi Emil, I cannot access your photo as I don't use Facebook, however, your plant has done really well to flower for so long in the winter. I cannot see buds on any of my cacti, although a number of succulents have flowered. Let's hope that Spring will soon be here.

Re: Mam Z double flower

Hi Emil, welcome back! It is many years since I had M. zeilmanniana, so I am not sure when it normally flowers. January sounds quite early, but it has been mild, although rather dull, at least in this area. Enjoy your plants.

Re: Aloe variegata

Hi Heather, my plant also has flower spikes and, like yours, there are two from the same growing point. Perhaps this is normal for this plant.

Re: Repotted, restocked and ready for Spring 2016

Hi Roy, your plants look happy and healthy there on your balcony. It's good to think that spring is on the way, daffodils have been in flower here for some weeks. You still have room for more plants!

Hi Ken, welcome to the Forum, I hope your seeds do well. I'm sure you will soon get along to your local branch where you will find plenty of encouragement and information. Good luck.
