Re: ID please
Not sure of the flower colour yet Ray as it has not flowered for me yet although as you see it is imminent. The body of the plant as you see is very dark almost black my L. winteriana is more green.

Re: Haworthia seeds
Hi Chris
I agree with Ciao the Haworthia Society is a good source of Haworthia seed. I have been a member for many years and have had some really great plants from seed supplied by them over the years.

Re: A fix of Haworthias
Lovely plants Bill,I can see you are as fond of Haworthias as I am, although as you know I shade mine more than you do but I confess your plants have lovely colourings. I also don't water my plants during August and September (the Tom Jenkins method) except for the very small plants. Sylvia in Somer...

Re: Brian Fearn - Echinopsis hybrids book
I entirely agree with what you say Ralph and where plants are concerned nothing gives me greater pleasure than to pass on an offset or pup of a Schick or other hybrid to someone who has admired it. I think your comment that Brian is simply proud to own something unique, and that he wants to stay tha...

Re: Brian Fearn - Echinopsis hybrids book
I too have received my copy of Brian Fearn's book and agree with what has been said previously with regard to the photographs. I am a memember of the Echinopsis Swap Circle run by Dr Elizabeth Pendleton and one of my friends was told by Brian Fearn that his reason for the non release of some of the ...
