Re: CactusWorld Live - a succulent adventure

Thanks, Tony.

Yes, the CactusWorld Live website is up and will be updated periodically with more information. Many thanks to Sheila Cude for creating the page.

Show Schedules (also including the new logo!) are available from me or the Show Manager, Stirling Baker.

Zone 12 Convention 2020

The 2019 event hasn't happened yet but we're in credit with the hall following the imposed change of venue for this year, so we've booked and started planning for 2020! The convention will return to its regular venue in Crawley on 19 April 2020 and we're delighted to confirm that Graham Charles will...

April eNews

Unfortunately, on account of competing priorities within both our BCSS roles and our day-to-day lives, Sheila Cude and I have been unable to have the April edition of eNews ready for publication today (Friday). The plan now is for it to be emailed to subscribers on Monday. In the meantime, don't for...

Zone 12 Convention - Change of Venue

We need to announce that the venue for the Zone 12 Convention on Sunday 12th May has had to be changed because road closures in Crawley created by a recently announced marathon run will make our regular hall completely inaccessible. The new venue is Plumpton Village Hall, 1 Westgate, Plumpton Green,...

Re: Enews..

There is also a subscription link. http://www.society.bcss.org.uk/index.php/newsletter.html Unfortunately, the subscribe button in the link does not work. If you open one of the issues and then click on 'view in browser' a subscribe button that does work will be available top left. Alternatively, P...

Re: March eNews - delayed

Unfortunately, there has been a delay issuing the March eNews because of a technical issue with our MailChimp account. We are trying to get the edition out tonight (Friday) but the likelihood now is that it will not be available until Saturday.

With apologies,

March eNews

The March edition of eNews should be available later today, including a preview of the next CactusWorld journal, which promises to be a bumper issue!

Hopefully, the distribution problems have been resolved but please do let me know if any difficulties remain.

Re: eNews Special Edition

We've just become aware of the problem with question 7 and are taking steps to try to get the survey fixed (which was not created by the eNews team).

eNews Special Edition

Look out for a special edition of eNews , which should be out later today. It contains an important message from BCSS Chairman Ian Thwaites inviting you to participate in an online survey to help determine the future shape and direction of the Society. We've also made some changes to the distributio...

eNews Issues - Request for Data

We are working on finding solutions to the spam-marking problems that are affecting the distribution of eNews . In order to inform this work, we need some data to analyse in order to determine if there are any trends across different mail clients and ISPs. Jim Mercer has kindly provided an example o...
