Nice potful, probably each head is a separate seedling.
Many people find these hard to maintain in the soil they come in, worth thinging about reporting into 50 to 75% grit.

Re: The wife's lithops
I agree with Iann, don't water and repot. I'd repot once the old leaves are dried up, I think it is easier to manage these changes in spring.

Re: The wife's lithops
For me it depends how desicated they are. If they have enough water to last the winter follow conventional advice and leave dry till the old leaves shrivel.
But if really dried up some remedial water might be worthwhile. Need a picture guide this.

Czech publications
Hi all, I concede that I know next to nothing about the Czech hobby set up; but I was trying to see if one can get copies, ideally pdf downloads, of some of the Doweld articles in "Sukkulenty". I assume this is a society journal? Or did he set it up himself? I was particularly triggered by...

Re: Showing weekend
Thanks guys. I'm booked with Bill already - great weekend for anyone hesitating. I just couldn't find the date again. Like Stuart, I too sought the info on the website, and found the worrying announcement about the 2016 weekend. Made a note about that in the diary, though I had trouble finding the 2...

Showing weekend
Can anyone remind me the dates of this year's Judges course/showing weekend, please? Struggled to find it on the website.

Re: Sad Fero
I wouldn't chop the top off, will just create another check in growth. Letting it grow on and gradually sinking the unsightly stuff under gravel, would be my approach.
Looks like your efforts will result in a nice looking plant!
