Re: Winter losses or damage
Hi Eric, I tend not to lose any plants through the winter, our winters in this part of the country are very mild. Alot of my plants are 20 years plus so they are well mature, believe or not but i spend at least 1hr every day with my plants so i tend to see anything thats not right. Every 3 weeks i c...

Re: Euphorbia obesa hybrid crested
I agree entirely with Chris R comment on E. Obesa crossed with E.symmetrica. I had a little smile because thinking back to 30 years ago when i started growing Euphorbias in those days people use to say are you sure its Symmetrica and not Obesa ? as if Symmetricas were the holy grail. I could never t...

Re: Euphorbia obesa crested
Hi suculentia. Nice unusual plants but Chris R is right they are hybrids. Grow them for what they are and enjoy them, but put hybrid on label. Or you could put them on ebay with a price tag of £100, there are plenty of idiots out there.

Re: ID please
Hi all.
One of our branch members has got rubber cacti and succulents ,they are more realistic than those
shown, she takes them along when we have displays to trick the public , it creates a good talking point.

Re: Euphorbia?
It is definately some sort of euphorbia i would say a hybrid? it looks abit like cv/ william denton. It looks like it has got abit of E. meloformis in it and abit of E.Obesa , but i could be wrong. Euthorbias cross pollinate easy and then fire their seeds all over the place. So when you find a seedl...

Re: Adro question
Hello AIKO It appears that both adros mentioned are both related to A Trigynus a section 2 plant. They are mentioned in the section of the book superfluos and dubious names. They are small leaved plants which are sometimes seen in cultivation,i have never seen them the nearest plant with very small ...
